26/27 Club Basketball Season

Ages

3rd through 8th grade boys and girls. All skill levels are welcome. Players should reside in the Baraboo School District or intend on attending Baraboo High School.

When

4th-8th grade: Varies by grade level, but expect mid to late October through mid to late February. Some teams play into March.

3rd grade will typically start practice early November and complete season by late January or early February.

6th through 8th grade boys and girls will be expected to attend evaluations in September. Date TBD.

Where

All teams participate in the Badger Develeopment Leauge. Some of our girls teams also participate in ESYBL leauge. This leauge plays every Saturday end of October through first weekend in December.

Practices

Practices are held in gyms in the Baraboo school district.

Team Placement Policy

Our goal is to provide the best developmental environment for every player based on their age and skill level and was agreed on by the club basketball board as well as the high school boys and girls basketball coaching staffs.

Grades 3rd – 5th

Balanced Rosters: When an age group has multiple teams, players are split evenly.

Equal Competition: Teams are created with an equal mix of skill levels to ensure balanced play.

Grades 6th – 8th

Skill-Based Evaluation: When an age group has multiple teams, players are grouped by skill level.

Placement Decisions: Team placement is determined by performance during evaluations.

Targeted Growth: This ensures players compete against athletes of similar development levels.

Games

3rd grade will play 12 games. All other grades can play around 20-30 games per season. Games may be in Baraboo, but most are in the Madison area on Saturdays and Sundays November-February (5-6 weekends total). Teams also have the option to schedule independant tournaments (i.e, JAG tournaments.) No leauge games are played over holiday breaks.

Jerseys

Each club basketball player will be provided with a uniform and shooting shirt. All included in the cost of registration.

$200 for grades 4-8

$100 for 3rd grade

Volunteer Requirement- 4 - 1.5 hour working shifts per family.

Volunteer Buyout: $200

Please register your child for the grade they will be in next fall (26/27 school year).
